Default dropped something in oil pan need help quick

i finally got around to installing my vortech blower and when i went to punch the oil pan, i forgot my punch had a rubber tip on it and it fell off inside the oil pan. i tried draining it out with oil but no luck. will it cause serious harm to my motor or will it just melt and everything will be ok? by the way its about 1/4 size of a penny.

I'd personally pull the pan and get it out. Don't take any chances man.

X2 might as well do it while you can before you mess something up

I know it is a longshot but I would try draining the oil then putting it back in over and over. After draining, maybe spray compressed air if it is lodged somewhere, then put oil in and hopefully it'll flush out. You might get lucky and that will save a lot of work.
