Smile Whats up guys Help me out ! =)

OK, here's my situation. I needed a new differential cover. I got it this morning in the mail which was dang fast I ordered it Friday night. But anyway i was wondering if this was gonna have any adverse affects... I am off Tuesday and Wensday and I was wondering could I just go ahead and drain the differential clean it out really good and put the cover back on it today and fill the rear end up Thursday night with friction modifier and fluid. The reason why i am gonna fill it up Thursday is because I get a discount on the fluids and stuff at my job and it is a long ways away. So If i could let it drain and clean it out really good then fill it up Thursday that would be perfect. Would any parts rust up or seize up being that it wouldnt have any fluid on it for like a day and a half? Thanks in advance.

How much fluid does the rear end require?

do just what you are planning ....nothin will seize up...you'll be fine...i'm assuming that you got an aftermarket cover so you will fill the rear until fluid comes back out of the top hole
