fuel leak?

fuel leak?
I have a 2001 gt and just noticed that fuel is leaking from where the fill tube enters the tank. Is this a common or easy fix or am I in a little trouble here.any help would be appreciated.

yes it is common and yes it is easy to fix it is just the grommet that goes around the filler spout i changed mine in less than an hour with jack stands and a jack. a new grommet is like 20 dollars at ford.
run your tank almost empty drop the tank pull the filler spout out of tank pull old grommet out and then put new in. then put the filler spout back in the tank and put tank back up and secure tight
