I'm about to go out and pull the drivers side valve cover off, and probably also put the car up on jack stands so I can take a look inside the inspection cover to view the clutch assy, it sounded like there is a thow out bearing issue in there or something with the pressure plate too, besides the other noise.

check back in here in a bit and bring new news....

Thanks for all the informative comments, it is all GREAT information to have, I'll look into all of the theroys till I find the issue(s) Then I'll have to make a decision if I want to fix, or replace the problem causer, or just sell or trade it off as is and take a lose... I'm trying to downsize my toys a little not add to them...

i was just reading the other tread and i see that it had a leak and ran outa oil i think there are multi problems one lack of oil made valve issues and the clutch assemely has somthing going on and if your valves and clatering then i hope your rod bearings are still good.

Have you considered timing chain tensioner issues?

I raced an integra with a fully built k20 and when we were going about 70. I slowed down because there was a little baby bumb on the road. He did'nt, hit the bump and went airborne like 1 sec and did'nt let off the gas. Over revved it hard!! We stopped and the car had the SAME EXACT sound. Turns out it was a lifter and he rebuilt the motor with forged internals. Time to spend a good amount of $! goodluck!
