Default What do you guys think

I have been just saving some money here and there in order to buy another stang, i sold my last one i had and i want another. Im not necessarily looking for a top condition mustang i would not mind a little project, and i found a 1999 mustang gt for sale for 3500, but with 200k miles lol, i would be putting in a new motor, trans, and rear anyway. I offered the bank that owns it 2k and they said they will think about it. SO what do you think

absolutely, if you can get it for 2k, and the body/sf are stong and solid, you have a great platform for cheap. Just rip out the old and build it up how you like!

alright, sounds good and i just took it for a spin to a well known mechanic around here and he says the only thing bad with it is the rear end,(bad bearings, the usual for high mileage) and the car fax had 30 records, but 24 of them were service records and the others for loans and new ownership. They said they would sit on my offer for a little while, but im sure not too many people know about it and its been sittin for awhile.

Sounds like a deal. What kind of motor and trans would you put in it?

Why you sell you old stang?
