Also, meth works well on some turbo setups ... which you don't have.

Well idk since youre not lookin for 100 hp gain...you may look into it w/ the lower temps. But idk if ID do it on a N/A car.

Trust me...I know the benefits of it with a turbo car. Friends with 76mm single turbo supras and a friend with a 76mm turbo mustang...i am well aware of the benefits. Also, i am well aware of the fact that i dont have a turbo on my car. And if you were refering to the fact that i didnt put turbo into my original post...f/i covers all turbos and superchargers. I know it sounds kinda dumb but if you wanna squeeze every last little bit of power out of our little motors, youre gonna need all the help you can get...whether it be N/A or F/I.

I really wouldn't worry about it. Running high octane might give you a little something, but if your car is running the way its supposed to, it won't be much of anything. I'd save the 500, and put it towards something that will actually make you go faster. 500 bucks is a decent chunk of a used supercharger setup... Or if you want to stay with bolts ons.. maybe UDPs... or a plenum and TB? I don't see those on your mod list in your sig there..

EDIT: Gears?

Gears are sitting in the bank account as we speak...i got the money for a fully built rear and some other goodies im currently looking at. But I dont think im going to do underdrive pulleys. Im gonna buy hoosier drag radials here soon. But im not saying doing it to my car right this very second. Once i would do heads and cams and start trying to push the envelop with my car N/A, I would look into doing this. Just an idea that ive never seen anyone run and thought i would ask opinions on it.

If your going to run very high compression then yes it will be a benefit. You won't get much of a power gain from it just a cheap safety feature. I would run straight meth on a NA car and not a mix. I run a 50/50 mix on my car.

Just wondering, why would you run straight instead of a mix?

Straight meth has better cooling and more octane. The only reason I don't run straight meth is because it can get costly and I spray alot more meth/water then a NA car would.
