a 2v block "can" be made to hold a 4v top end but it takes work.

rwhp is just a rough estimate, not completely accurate!!!

2v is a sohc, 16 valve 281ci v8 230-235rwhp
3v is a sohc, 24 valve 281ci v8 260-265rwhp
4v is a dohc, 32 valve 281ci v8 270-280rwhp

but obviously autos and manuals yeild different gains due to parasitic loss, live axels vs irs yata yata yata. a lot of variables but this kinda gives you an idea

Not really. I'm finishing the swap this week, and it wasn't that bad. The 4v heads bolt right to the 2v block no problem. The heads are a bit of a tighter squeeze while in the car, but nothing worse than some of GM's stuff.

The swap is pretty straight forward, actually. You need a lot of little parts, the only big expensive things you need are the heads, cams, and intake. I can make an entire list of everything needed, but unless someone wants to know, I don't think I have the motivation to type it out.
