Default Muffler Swap Question

I have stock exhaust so it's the 2.25" pipe. I'm thinking of two different options. 1.) swapping out to flowmaster super 44's or, 2.) slp loudmouths. The problem is that the flowmasters come with 2.25" in/out, and the loudmouths come with only 2.5". Will the 2.5" fit? Also, will the straight "glasspack" style of the loudmouths work with the exhaust or would pipes need bent?

If your going to weld in then just get the flowmasters, in order to weld in the LM's you'll have to bend the pipe and then get reducers and it would just be a hacked up mess.

OR, save yourself the labor charges and just buy a whole catback of either brand.

**** flows and slp. Just get MAC 2.5 in/out offset, its like 110 shipped for a pair of mufflers.

Seriously though, its easier to just buy a catback, that way you can do it yourself.... not that the .5" extra pipe really does anything after the mufflers.

you have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting your hands on any type of mac mufflers or catbacks. LOL

but they are they meanest mufflers around.

+1 on just saving for the catback and calling it a day. The install is easy vs. paying something to fabricate something and install.

Spin Tech FTW. Buy a catback system its cheaper in the long run.

With a catback you are going to unbolt the crap you currently have stuck to your cats and bolt on an entirely prebuilt, bent and welded exhaust system. I have a Borla system and was really happy with the install, sound, and performance. They do cost like 500 bucks though...
