im wondering all the ford cars that came with the aluminum 4.6 or 5.4 (was there a 5.4 aluminum?) block?

 

i think the 96-98 cobras came with the aluminum teskid block

 

i heard that the explorer came with it, there is a thread somewhere around here about it. anyone know what years. i would assume a couple mercury's came with it also...

 

the early lincoln mark viiis had teksid blocks (not sure what years, maybe 93-95), 96-98 cobras (and some 99s), and 01-03 4.6 explorers.

 

all cobras 96-01 had aluminum blocks because even after the Teksid they went to the W.A.P (windsor aluminum plant) block the Mecury Mark VIII's also had it i think it was something like 93-95 or 98, i think a few explorers may have had it as mentioned, im clueless as to the 5.4s.

 

The Mark VIII from 93-95 used the aluminum Teksid block. They changed over to the intech in 96.
