blown trans n motor $2500... what to do

Dimebag, since you like the drag strip, definitely go with the 4R70W and throw that engine back in there with some light port work, and you'll have more fun

It is easy to forget though on the street that you have a manual valve body, I remember driving and I'd be like "oh ****, I have to shift"

Daily driver, only car I have... Motors coming out one weekend and in the next tops... Trans swap I can get done on a sat. Only reason I'm giving the motor a week is because I want to paint some stuff, and am doing some work to the heads at work

Sounds like you need to put that 2500 into a beater car. lol that way you can leave your car apart until you can do what you want to it.
