I say, before you go dropping bills on the issue, put the sway bar back in and see where that gets ya. If it fixes it, sweet. If not, then at least you eliminated that as a possibility. Sweet slo mos though.

Mike, don't put anything back on the car or change anything until you have some tires on there that can hook a stick car. Hoosier QTP's or M/T E.T. Street (bias ply)or a true slick. Stick with a 26" and you won't have those swaying problems. Drag radials are for auto's and cars that aren't going to hit the tires hard.

et drag.. 26 inch... dont mess with cheater slicks, or dots, your not trying to fit into any classes, and they arent going to do aswell as a true slick...

car bogs, even if it pulls the front tires, its not making enough power to pull through the 60ft...

you would be suprised how offten a car pulls the front wheels, has a badass picture, but the actual 60ft was only a 1.7 1.8....

on the other side of the fence.. My car used to look like i was driving it off a stoplight, and it was doing 1.6s on 275/40/17s..

I'm going to go with a 26x10 ET drag on some 10" wheels.

M/T is offering a $50 visa card on the purchase of a pair!! So M/T it is . But should I go with a 26x10 or 26x10 stiff (the stiff also has an extra .5" of sidewall which will help me through the traps)? The regulars have a softer compound but I believe the stiff is supposed to be better for a stick car on spray. Any opinions?

on edit: I noticed that weld offers a 15x10 with a 7.5" bs, will this rub on the inside. I think my 10.5's have a 6.95" bs, I'm not sure if there is enough room for another .55", anyone (cough cough blackonblack) know?

The stiff sw should work better I'm told. If you want to drive with the tires on to the track the Hoosier QTP's I use are awesome. Can'y help you on the tire rub...sorry.

They would fit but look like crap... I think my 13 inch wheels have something crazy like 8.2x inches of backspacing...

6.5 backspacing centers the tire in the well pretty good.. Letting you get about as crazy as you want with tiresize and not come out past the fender or hit the axle while leaving a ton of room on the other side...

I am a fan of running the tires closer to the fender...

my 10.5s have 6.5 inches of backspacing...

my 11s have 6inches but stick out a tad bit more than i would like...

I think the bogarts i have are 6inches and 10 inches wide and sit nice...
