Noob question about aftermarket performance parts
#11
Wow! I just read that guys writeup and checked out the website. Kit, head unit if I can find one used for $1300. Plus about $400 in random parts. Under 2k and im up and running at 8psi non intercooled. Wasn't real specific when he said "supporting mods" if you did go intercooled and run 10psi.
I think I will go that route. The whole damn setup and it cost less than long tube headers did for my old car.
What about suspension guys? I'll buy the s/c parts on Friday (minus the head unit, going to have to scavenge hunt for that) but I need to know what kind of suspension mods to get.

i would look into maximum motorsports for suspension. They are pretty much the best for 5.0 foxes so ive decided they would be good enough for me they got a lot of track testing behind their stuff, and from what ive read and the few times ive talked to them they are more worried about getting it right than making it light.

super charge and steeda suspension kit for $800. Definitely lower the car for better handling.
Why steeda, because it's steeda and I've seen good reviews on MM&FF and 5.0 Mustang magazines.
You'll be gunnin like a mad man! lol
