Don't do it. That is something I will never get. If you want a Cobra, buy a Cobra. If you want a built GT, build a GT. Don't cross between the two. I think it's cool(partially because my car is set up this way) to not rep any model at all. Just Mustang.

The other thing with building Fobras is that some dumb *** ricers races you, takes you down, then goes on all the forums talking about how he killed a Cobra! Makes cobra owners and by extension, mustangs look bad. I am against rebadging. I don't even like when GT's get V6 badges, because it is just stupid, sure you might get more action, but it is gay action.

Yea, here in ohio we have a weekend car spot in Mansfield and theres this kid who had the gt500 body kit/badges on his GT. We made fun of him. You don't want people to do that. Also if your showin off your car and someone asks you if it's a TRUE cobra you dont wanna have to say no and lose peoples respect.

ok so here is the last question for now!lol! i want to buy the 5.4 DOHC and put a turbo on it will it be worth it and will it be able to compete with the termi. the block is 2600 with forged internals or should i go with the 4.6 4v DOHC and turbo it????? I would think and I had seen a video where a 5.4 DOHC T/C spanked a cobra please help before i buy. Thank you

Why are you so set on "spanking" termi's, there's a lot of built termi's out there so its hard to say if your going to be killing all of them. Buy something that you like, if you want to go turbo 5.4L then do it. A Turbo 5.4L in a new edge sounds pretty unique to me. Good luck man

honestly 5.4 DOHC sounds like a huge head-ache, i had thoughts of trying it down the road but it'll probably just be a pure track car.

I don't think you realize how much of a headache you're gonna be attempting to undertake. The fabrication for the turbo(s) is gonna be a pain in the dick, and its not gonna be cheap. I don't see a point to going 5.4DOHC turbo unless you're trying to break like 1000whp, you can make 600ish fine on a 2v.

Is your car a cobra? NO, therfore dont put a badge on there saying its something that its not. It would be a 5.4 turbo swapped 02 GT...not a cobra. cobra badges go on cobra's.

but cobra body parts are cool
