The last I checked my gas tank is metal with plastic covering on the bottom..Also alot of people run there cars like this... If I did cut them off I would for sure put some turn downs on it..

are you looking for the mufflers or catback. Jegs and summit should have the mufflers.
Asfar as what to get id go with stingers, i had lm1s and they are raspy as hell and have no tone. Stingers are the opposite.

 

So youre saying stingers dont have rasp...they have BUTTLOADS of rasp with an o/r midpipe...especially an x pipe. If you want louder, then just get some single chamber flowmasters. They are loud as hell and still give that same kinda tone.

 

my setup was lt's, o/r x, slp 1's, dumped before axle and it was pretty damn loud people would cover there ears when they had there windows up


i got used to it and now im just lt's and open o/r x, now this is getting pretty quiet so i am about to do open lt's



i like my shiat really loud

 

i the lm1's dumped are louder than the mid pipe dumped
