People buy them because their cheap and they want to save a buck!

Whats cheap about them? Im only asking because I don't know, not to be an ***. Is it the weld quality? Or type of steel used? or what?

I've had first hand with these headers since 2 of my buddies have put them on their GT's to 1 year later take them off to go with Kooks. It mostly has to do with the welds. The welds that I have seen on these headers is very sloppy, that is why I always say "A blind man can weld better". They also just feel very cheap when you hold them. If you put a BBK next to a Kooks or ARH header you will be able to tell the difference. Also I don't feel their ceramic coating is welll done. I have seen the ceramic coating ones start to rust after 1 year. You get what you pay for. I say just save up, get a set of kooks or arh and be happy. Do it once and Do it right! Usually the people that say I have no problems with my BBK's or their well made if because they have no first hand experience with any other brand.

On both set of BBK headers i have seen installed there has been fitment issues with the steering shaft. And the "power dent" in one of the primaries to try to allocate the proper clearence just seems like a cheap and poorly thought out design.

But I guess i just have a grudge against BBK, all of the parts I've seen and held from BBK tend to have shotty machine work, and seldom feel like a quality part. Maybe others have had better luck, but I cant say I have.

But in their defense BBK does put a fairly nice, very durable ceramic coating on thier headers.
