pullies dont "ADD" any power, they simply free up power from accessories that can be transfered to the rear wheels.

They don't add hp to the engine. They add a little bit hp to the wheels which is what most people care about. If you have 225rwhp and get pulleys and have 230rwhp. You just added 5rwhp.

OP: I'll sell a set of BBK's to you for $50 shipped

and i do agree with most here... They only free up like 4-7hp. They do however let the engine rev alittle faster. But dont expect anything major.

u didn't add anything you simply transfered the power, its like an aluminum driveshaft.(well not exactly but sort of the same principal.)

yes there is more power going to the rearwheels but not because you added any but because you found a more efficent way to power the accessories therefore more power is freed up to go elsewhere.

you basically took what i said and reworded it but tweaked it a little, but if u have 260bhp and u add pullies.... you still have 260bhp. So really you are not ADDING anything, just becoming more efficent.

If you put them on with a car that has a stock alternator you can have issues sometimes , I ve heard this can be a prob. If it is, and your upgrading your alt due to a electric fan maybe, you will be good right?

I want to avoid UDPs unless I wont have issues w my lights dimming or my car fluctuating..

try about 1 whp with bbk. they look nice but i did some dyno runs when i first got my gt back in 03. waste of $$$, old fox stangs pick up more b/c their pulley set is not as good as the 4.6 set up. tb/plenum is a better option. i ran them for a few months with no problems with the alt but took them off when i installed my p1sc. sold them but kept the alt pulley since it was just a hair larger than my stock one took help keep my belt tight.

I agree... yes they don't add hp to a motor...they just free up hp... so lets say w/o pulleys... the motor was putting 260 to the wheels...well, if adding pulleys netted 5 hp...then you would be freeing up 5 hp for the motor but adding 5 hp to the rear wheels.
