Having second thoughts!!

Headers are always worth the money. There are a lot of mid pipes to go with. If you want a bass sounding rumble go with an h-pipe, if you want a raspy NASCAR rumble go with an x-pipe. JBA, Pypes, SLP, make good x-pipes. IMO I wouldn't go with any BBK exhaust products I think there junk, and a lot of other people would agree.

if you just want you car to be loud then just put a o/r mid pipe on it. If you have the funds now and you want lt's then do it now and buy a shortie midpipe and save you money down the road. If you know you are going to put lt's shortly down the road then why buy a midpipe twice??? you will always get mixed opinions about brands, short vs long etc. It makes decision making very hard. You have to figure out what makes sense on your own and run with it.

Though maybe saying shorties are junk might be too harsh, because they help with the sound, but LTs do that AND add some more power.

look at a dyno of before and after shorties. there is this area before the peak hp/tq, its called the low and mid end of the graph.
oh wait, all anyone care about is their peak

I found some dyno sheets on an s197 and thus was very true. Big gains in lower end almost none on top. But yes...I care more about higher end personally.

Yea...why do people even care about gains down low...If you want your car to be faster, top end gains are what you really need.
Long tubes are worth it if you can install them yourself...otherwise be prepared to spend way too much money to get them put on.
