actually, if your set up right you dont even launch at low rpms. but every time you shift you will be in the low-mid range.

for the record, i dont think shorty's rule and are for everyone. im doing because im sick of hearing everyone talk shyt about them when they dont know their *** from a hole in the ground.

i wouldnt mind hacving long tubes but shorties have their place

yea but how many people here are launching at 4k? besides dime because hes a crazy mother****er lol... **on stock parts atleast, and hooking up**

when you shift, you drop into mid sorta, but shouldnt be low...to be honest, i havent driven my car since like february or something like that, so i dont remember what rpm i was at when it shifted, but if you run it out to 5800rpm and shift, youre not going down to 2k

I have shorties and they do their part. I would get longtubes but i scrape on the ground the way it is I don't want to lose anymore ground clearance.

Ok so is the concensus here that a good set of shorties will actually produce better dyno numbers in the low-mid rpm range than LT's will??

i have a pypes o/r x pipe, i like it.
Not saying all JBAs are junk but my buddy had a set on his 4.6 F-150 and they had a huge crack in them. He's an amazing welder so it was no biggy for him but there was the hassle of getting back at them.
