premium?
hi there,i have a 01 gt below the speedometer it says premium unleaded,i didnt notice that when i took a test drive,and i was using 87 octane,but i downloaded a owners manual and it says to use at least 87 octane?

It sounds as though someone installed a Cobra gauge set or gauge faces...

Correct, unless the owner before you had a tune in it for (91 or 93) based on where you live and he changed out the gauge cluster.

take a picture of your gauge cluster and post it. I bet you have a mach 1 or cobra cluster.

Even the aftermarket gauges say premium unleaded, I know the one AM sells does. Yeah, unless it has be tuned for premium it is just regular 87.

i bought the car from a dealer just a couple weeks ago,and he did say someone put a new cluster in.but how would i know if a tune was done?
