Most european cars call for 5w-40 but your car isnt european it made in America and some of the parts are made in mexico but there isnt any european parts. I run 5w-30 amsoil in mine with no problems but i used to run 5w-20 moble 1 nothing wrong with it

Cold in Bakersfield? I've lived in Visalia and Merced. We cleaned the morning frost off our windows with a glass of warm water. But it doesn't get a little warm there in the summer.
