Default Are these headlights any good?

Ok so I just got a 98 Mustang GT convertible after my 2000 V6 was totaled and I have been looking for some headlights to improve its look and i like both these,

there both OME and DOT approved. My question is are projectors better or not? I've already searched it and its pretty confusing so any thing to help me make my decision would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm not going to lie to you. The second ones are better. It will look HORRIBLE if you put on the first set. Then again, it's all up to your personal preference.

my .02 cents

Here are the ones I put on my 98 GT when I first bought it. I think they look good on the car, especially if you have a black one. I haven't had any problems with them either. Picture of my car is attached.

+1 with droptop...the 1st set look too ricer burner-ish. 2nd set would look great.
