Now not only do i fear the boogy man under my bed gonna get me...but i fear 99blackponygt is going to jump outta my trunk and beat me with a lug wrench everytime i say rims or nawz!!!
On a more serious note, silly threads like "which cai" or "4.10's or 3.73's" are somewhat dumb questions. You dont have to explain it to them. Just post "no cai" or "4.10's for n/a, 3.73's for boost" and dont explain it. Then it takes like 2 seconds to reply and it gives them their answer. now if they want the explanation, then post the infamous "use the search function" response that way youre not wasting time answering the dumb threads...well more than a few seconds anyways.

You obviously have the skill to do the work yourself and to search out quality used parts.
I bought my car several years ago for $10k. I have put $12k in it and I'm nowhere close to 600 rwhp. My hood, grill delete and front wing installed and painted costs almost $1,000. My wheels and tires cost nearly $1,000 more (I installed them myself.) I've got another $1,000 in my 31-spline rear end. Now add the ProCharger $5,500 installed, gages $350 installed, subframe connectors $200 installed, electric water pump about $400 installed, TB/Plenum $250, Cobra front brakes $350, Hurst shifter $175, LT headers and catted x-pipe $1,000 installed, MAFia $200, two dyna tunes and a slew of small parts.
I still need forged internals, supercharger cams, and a complete fuel system upgrade to even get to the mid-500 rwhp level.
How did you take a stock 1999 Mustang GT to over 600 rwhp on only $6,000?

see sig...and i paid about $1000 labor for some chassis work since i dont know how to weld, so i didnt do all my own work
big block plus a 200-225 shot plate kit
also, you cant include the cost of your visual mods....those didnt make you faster, but buying a new edge and making 600rwhp can be done cheaper than 26k.... buy new edge gt with high miles, 4500...on3performance turbo kit 2k, forged rotating assembly plus machine work 2k....misc gaskets parts whatever...youre close to 12k there, maybe a touch over and thats staying with a modular motor
or
buy high mileage new edge v6 car... $3000
terminator drivetrain $6000
paying a shop to do the labor, $1000 tops (shop around...the shop i use charged $450 for a v6 to 2v swap)
pulleys, exhaust, tune ...cake walk
