new here! please help me!
op! dont forget you'll need at least 5" - 6" exhaust tips for all tha mods ur gettin! especially if u ever want to use......................,NOS! (not to be confused with nitrous oxide systems, totally different stuff!) LOL!!!
Now your being a bitch. Do you say Kleenex when you mean facial tissue, or Xerox when you mean copy? if so, then quit your bitchin
. I call it NOS because that is what most people know it by, but generally I prefer giggle gas. Rims is just slang and you will have to get over that. I hear that word so many times a day, it is just part of my vocab.
and your examples dont fit because atleast theyre pronounced right... kleenex is pronounced kleenex... so if i say, do you want a kleenex? you can say yes and i can hand you a kleenex brand tissue. if you say youre filling your nos bottle, it is incorrect. NOS is a brand, if you have an NOS bottle, it is pronounced N-O-S, not naws nawhz nawz gnaws or however ricer douchebag way you feel like saying it. as for "rims", just because its slang doesnt mean it isnt annoying as ****...theres tons of slang out there, and half of it is retarded as hell anyways
P.S. ....i do not say Xerox, or Kleenex when referring to copying something or using a tissue

I think its because for a lot of people $1,000 is a lot of money and they read advertisements that promise huge horsepower gains. After all, New Edges are going for $6,000-7,000 now. Many who can buy New Edge's usually don't have another $5,000-6,000 for a supercharger. But that's OK. It's up to the more experienced members of the forum to help the newbs spend their money wisely. So the cold air or gear questions don't bother me. The ones that bother me are where a newb sets their goal at 600 rwhp. The first question in my mind is, "Do they have $20,000 to put into that $6,000 car?"

...14k after a rear end though
On a side note. I had a dream last night that someone mistakenly pulled into my driveway and then couldn't stop their car because of the ice and rammed my garage door into my mustang. Then the insurance guy came out and said that the accident would be considered my fault because I didn't de-ice my driveway. He then told me my deductable was $500 but he could buff it out for $100. My wife offered to do it but she was going through an obsticle course on a sinking ship in order to save all the people on the ship because the "SAW" type "cereal" killer was threatening to kill everyone if she didn't. But there was an oil spill that was on fire so it made it extra hard to do it. All while I was trying to find out who stole the neighbors bicycle in my barn that had the police training on aggressive driving next to the spec ops guys repeling from the barn to the garage in order to try and pull out my car from the garage that had a caved in door from the neighbor crashing into it. Do you guys think I should wait to have my wife buff out the scratches or pay the $100? Do I need a lawyer?
You obviously have the skill to do the work yourself and to search out quality used parts.
I bought my car several years ago for $10k. I have put $12k in it and I'm nowhere close to 600 rwhp. My hood, grill delete and front wing installed and painted costs almost $1,000. My wheels and tires cost nearly $1,000 more (I installed them myself.) I've got another $1,000 in my 31-spline rear end. Now add the ProCharger $5,500 installed, gages $350 installed, subframe connectors $200 installed, electric water pump about $400 installed, TB/Plenum $250, Cobra front brakes $350, Hurst shifter $175, LT headers and catted x-pipe $1,000 installed, MAFia $200, two dyna tunes and a slew of small parts.
I still need forged internals, supercharger cams, and a complete fuel system upgrade to even get to the mid-500 rwhp level.
How did you take a stock 1999 Mustang GT to over 600 rwhp on only $6,000?

I had a good dream last night, it involved a friends ex, it was good.
Okay, here I agree and disagree. One, you assume I like that movie, I don't. Fake as hell and annoying to boot. I have only seen the first two and they are entertaining, but inaccurate as hell.
You are one of the few. I hear that many times a day as far as hey you got a kleenex or xerox this for me. I like rims only because it is for retards and most don't know the difference between and wheel and a tire, ask me how I know...
Also NOS is a brand name yes, but N-O-S is also just an abbreviation for Nitrious Oxide System, so saying it isn't completely out of line when referring to nitrous, even though I am sure Holley would have something to say about that.
im a bitch because you watched too much fast and furious? yeaaa ok....
