Does that mean you put 10K down and financed a bit more, or you really only paid 10,000 dollars for a 40,000 mile stock Mach 1?

If its the second of the two, you got a HELL of a deal in my opinion.

Wanna sell it for 10,500?

im not a fan of mach 1s at all due to cost vs performance ...but for 10k ide say you got a hell of a deal, and i would jumped all over that too...esp for a low mile stock mach

im guessing that you mean 10g + the amount your insurance company gave you for your old car?

I don't know, I suppose there is a small chance he actually got the car for 10,000 dollars total. That would make for one heck of a deal and that's why I offered him 10,500. However it's still possible that it happened like you said.

He got X amount for his GT, and then paid another 10K.

i only guessed that because he said 10k out of pocket, out the door

so im assuming that covered tax and title, which means he woulda got the mach for around 9k... and idk any dealership that dumb... 16k seems more reasonable plus another 1-2k for tax title etc...**dealership prices, not private sale**

im guessing this because of how he worded it "only 10gs out of pocket"...meaning he bought the car and spent 10k, i wouldnt call money he received from the insurance check outta pocket....i could be wrong, guess we will find out when he chimes in

I did indeed word it wrong.
I talked them down to 10k. With taxes deal fee and all that crap, I walked out for about 12k. My bad...

As for my GT, insurance paid for all of it except 1200. GAP took care of that!!

Overall, a stock Mach 1 for 12.5, all stock except for the mesh grill that was on it, that I already ordered a replacement from Ford.

And it's now got 40,100 on the clock!!
