Default What should I do now?

As some of you know, my car probably got totaled this weekend. I am very upset about it. She was my first mustang, and I have wanted one just like her for 10 years.

But, accidents happen, and now I'm looking again.

Please help! What do I need to know, or what should I have known when looking for my first? Any problem areas? Anything else?

I have been looking on craigslist, and I have been scouring dealerships all day. I'm also not a huge fan of the new body style, nice as they are, I just love the angular look of the last one.

So help me out guys! What should I look for? What should I spend?

Thanks alot!

Well the question is how much $ are you getting from insurance or looking to spend overall?

Mach 1s have come down alot in price, and if you're willing to spend say 18-19 you're getting into 03 cobra territory.

I don't really know what I'm gonna spend yet. Still kinda determined by what the insurance guys say. Hopefully around 15-18. anybody know the approximate differeance in insurance pricing between GTs and Cobras? That'll be a determining factor too...

The insurance for a cobra will be alot more, when i got a quote I would be around 1200 for 6 months. Versus $800 what I pay now.

that depends on alot of things, his age, insurance etc etc, also depends on the year cobra.

i pay ~ what you pay every 6 months for my 96. Some people on here will tell you 03/04 insurance isn't that bad depending on age/insurer/record.

Been searching craigslist and auto trader so I can get one lined up. I would be goin to dealers, but they never listen to what I want!
Told them all I was interested in was an 01 to 04 GT, 5 speed coupe. No V6, No auto and No converts. The first car: 02 V6 coupe. Second: 06 GT Conver. 3rd: 07 V6 auto coupe. Morons!
