Well my car rolled down a hill yesterday the e break wasn't fully engaged i guese i was lucky i missed a phone poll by 3 feet and no damage was done to my car. but it did roll over some pretty big rocks so i was looking under my car and noitced theres this glue around the diff cover i know you use some kind of glue to seal it after u open it. but just wanted to make sure if the glue falls off my diff cover will leak. thats just a cover on the outside right? and they just put some kind of glue over the bolts on the outside? any help please

its just sealent that squeezed out right? its ok if it fulls off its all dreyd up, the cover is bolted on so it seals it?

 

What u see is prolly the rtv they used to seal ur diff cover, the stuff u see is the excess squeezing out... No worries there

 

had that round the diff on my 99 mustang.. nothing to worry about
