Default 4.6 ltr is one tougher than other

Hi forum.

Kinda new to the 4.6 ltr and Ford in general but I am good with cars.
I know my 99 Mustang has a winsor block.

Is one block stronger than the other?

Romeo to Winsor?

Im hearing that the winsor is the stronger of the 2 , is this a fact?

Thanks great forum , I do my best to help out if I can

same strength, no measurable difference between the 2. on some romeo blocks you have to notch the block to install a cobra crank and not on the windsor.

There are a few differences between the two blocks, but strength is not one of them. Neither is a superior design. There is a list around here somewhere I remember reading...but really, nothing worth buying one over the other IMO. I do think I remember something about pressed cam gears or somethign liek that on one style and not the other. I don't know, whatever it was, one style had a more user friendly design than the other.
