Default anyone build there GT motor?

I'm looking to buy a 99 gt and build the motor up. I have a 97 cobra so i dont' know much about the 2 valve SOHC..I'm thinking heads, headers, new intake, and a set of forged pistons/rings..Any other suggestions or ideas ? Thanks

i have a idea keep your cobra and charge it and it will be faster than anything you do to a 2v

+1 why are you not building the 4v engine vs buying a inferior engine and build that?

just curious, what does a built+blown 99+ 2v motor put to the wheels vs. a 97 cobra 4v built+blown?

i had a procharger on my cobra and i took it off, didn't like it..i actually might get a 99/01 cobra and put an eaton on it. just looking for a project as opposed to buying an 03 with everything done.

4v's usually make ~20rwhp more per lb of boost. well thats what ive seen on the forums anyways.

so you took a procharger off just because you didn't "like it".

idk what to say lol maybe you should just buy a jet.
