I was saying 17x9 because you will get a hair wider rim than stock all the way around. Not to mention if you later decide to go with a bigger tire anyways you can get a bigger tire on a 17x8 than a 17x9. And you can reuse your current tires and the price diff in the wheels should be like 10 bucks max. I have stock 17x8 bullets all around and mine tramlines so hard on some of the bad roads here in alaska that when I get in grooves, it will throw me into the other lane instantly at 55mph. And I have stock wheels and tires.

Not trying to be a dick... but why do you care what a bunch of shlubs on the internet, or in person for that matter, think about your ride

You do what you like to your ride and buy whatever wheels you can afford or think are better for you. Look at peoples rides and see the wheels they have and get whatever look you like

one of the reason I am leaning toward the 17x8's all around is that my dad had a 98 tahoe and he got new tires and did not rotate the tires for like 20,000 miles and after he had them rotated it road like crap, it was very shaky on the freeway so he had them put back and it still road like crap and he ended up having to buy new tires and the tire shop said the old tires were out of round. I am a worrier and have OCD so thats why it is so hard for me to make up my mind I think the 17x9's and 17x8's will look good but I am unsure about rotation

Shouldn't have to worry about that so long as you buy quality name brand tires and rotate them at the proper times IMHO.
