Ive been pulled over by state stoopers and local cops 5+ times and have had black outs on my tailights...they didnt say a word. They were more interested in getting a dui. BUT...Blackouts, tint etc is a probable cause to pull u over. Stay sober and u should be ok!

Are you talking about buying a pair of Smoked headlights? Because I thought those weren't illegal...could be wrong though.

Just because you can buy something doesn't mean it is legal to use it on a street driven vehicle. Look at a lot of the exhaust parts... labeled as off road use only.
If you do go this route, make sure you do as suggested earlier, and don't be a dick to the cops if you do get pulled over... Are they specifically illegal I can't say, but 99+% of the time a cop can find something to ticket you over if he/she really wants to, so why give them an easy one.

just checked, if you buy the normal smoked lights with amber corners, they are legal, but if you buy the full smoked ones, they are illegal.

so these are fine: http://www.americanmuscle.com/black-...ber-99-04.html
