if it is a 2004 then it will be a 2valve 5.4.

well, in 2005 they went to the three valve. you could buy some 4v heads and look into the differences between the expedition bottom end and the 4v 5.4. I don't know what your plans are with it but you want to make sure you have a solid motor when you're done.

My plans are to build it for nx, i just rather start with the 5.4 then a 4.6. But i think $700 is a good price, Im planning on port and polish the heads, Cams, rods, pistons, etc. A full build and then later down the road a 100shot

If you are going to have forged internals, ported and polished heads and cams you need to run a bigger shot of giggle gas than a 100 shot! I'm guessing you could handle a 200 shot easy.

not sure about the nitrous but the stock numbers for the 2v is 260 and the 3v is 300. I can't see you gaining any horsepower just be having forged internals.

are you talking about upgrading to 4v? I'm not sure you'll have much luck finding performance 3v heads for a 5.4 unless you can put heads from a 4.6 on it. that is the same situation for the cams. You may be able to have a pair of custom cams made somewhere.
