IUP stood for the interior upgrade package from ford. you're most likely to find it in a Mach 1, although i have seen it in some GT's, and in one case, a 6er. it gave you silver gauge bezels, upgraded headrests (larger and tilted forward), bright peddles, and silver door lock plungers. the plungers are the only thing that i don't have for my interior.

Out of all the parts, those were my least favorite too. They do however, look better than the picture shows. Not as "bright"
