Default Painting rims

i have an 00 gt painted zinc yellow with anthracite buillits and have been wanting the black buillits for a long time and i dont want to soend the money on new rims and ive thought sbout painting them but not to sure if it is possibel and if it is what do i need to do

talk to a local powder coating company. that stuff's there to stay! im in the process in powder coating 99 cobra wheels black chrome

I painted my old 99's wheels. Looked awesome.... for a month. After that the quality starts to deteriorate pretty quick. Things you do realize is "powder coated rims" are somewhat resistant to road debris (like sand, pebbles, etc, on road, or whatever) and just "autozone" painted wheels will start to chip where they get dinged by anything. so something to consider if you decide to go that route.
