Default What do you guys think??

Finally made it to Afgahnastain and my heads already spining for the upgrades that I want to do to my car when I get back. I was thnking about a Roush front bumper. I am torn between a Cobra R hood or a 2.5 inch Cowl induction hood. What would you guys reccommend?. As for as the power I was thinking about a Procahrger pushing about 8psi.. One question that I have. With my current set plus a Procharger pushing 8psi what would my esimated HP be? Once again any info would be appreciated.

Roush front bumper sounds sweet, don't know what it would look like w/o the full kit tho......

I love the Cobra R hood so i'm biased, but since ur going with a procharger you don't really need a big cowl hood so the Cobra R would do just fine.

I have a friend that has an Oxford white GT, he has a procharger at 10psi with the same mods except exhaust work at he said he was around 400-415. I THINK he ran a 12.0 in the 1/4

i thought you wanted a 99/01 cobra bumper... make sure you know what you want before you order it

i saw a roush stage 3 bumper in person the other day. and i thought it was a ricey mustang at first... than i saw it was the roush stage 3... and i love the stage 3 in pictures, but it didnt seem to flow well on this particular car...

just a heads up for ya... pictures have deceived me on the StageIII

i would think you would be around 370-380rwhp.. thats the perfect limit for a stock block really.... 400rwhp is the absolute limit it seems, so going a little lower is always safer

as for hood... figure out what bumper you are going with and than decide which hood you want. i think your front bumper is nice bc you dont have a front plate cutout in your bumper. it seems to be filled right?

Finally decided what I'm going to do (with help from the wifey).Going to go with the 03-04 Cobra front bumper with the cobra chin spoiler to set it off. I've found a complete cobra front bumper (fog lights + wiring) for $450.00 and the chin spoiler will be a extra $130.00, both from blue oval industries. Does that sound about right? As far as the hood I'm going with the 1999 Cobra R hood. Would you guys reccommend I go Vortech or Procharger? Thxs for any info.

You will like the cobra r hood I get compliments on mine all the time. Vortech and Procharger are basically the same thing. Porcharger might be considered to have a bit more quality and be a bit more pricey but really it comes down to preference. Hope that helps.

Vortech - v2sq - 12-14lbs, intercooler, gear, set to pull spark at redline with an ultra conservative tune. Power goal of 380 rwhp. (The extra boost is not needed, but youll see why I recommend running it this way when you drive it, the added boost wont hurt).
