Rear end upgrade
#12
^^^^ I want to make it into a beastly drag car and a nice weekend cruise car. I will have a DD so making it a nice DD car is not even a concern. When I upgrade, I want to do it right so I won't have to later.

k, still wouldnt do a spool though... if you are ever going to drive this on the street, the spool will be a bad idea, but it is your car. i would def do a good bit of research before you purchase though.

Thats dumb to pay for the same job twice. Here's what you do. You save the money, do everything at one time with all the good parts, and then you dont have to worry about it ever again like you want to. And when i say good parts, im talking FORE differential cover, something like the Torsen differential, 31, 33, or even 35 spline axles(depending on how beastly youre gonna make this car), new everything inside housing like seals and stuff, welded axle tubes, and then while youre there, get your torque boxes reinforced and welded that way when you do suspension, that is already taken care of. If you do a spool, you will take it out unless its a "pull on trailor, take to race, pull of trailor, race, put back on trailor" type of car. No matter what, you will want to take your car on the street and your are gonna hate it with a spool...not to mention you will eat through tires like a kid eating candy on halloween.
