2002 mustang X-pipe help.
#21
I hate to be a broken record, as I've posted about this somewhere else recently, but the LM2's with an o/r x-pipe will sound almost identical to the LM1's with the factory h-pipe (slightly louder, but in a good way--not as raspy, and decrease in drone). I was at a car show over the weekend and got several compliments on how mine sounds from people with cars way more bitchin' than my own. You can also try the SLP Power-Flo's; they fit weird due to the offset of the inlet/outlet, and they were a little too quiet for me. The LM1's you're already running might be reasonable with a catted x, but there's only one way to really know....

The cats dont quiet them down that much. They are still loud and obnoxious so if thats what youre trying to avoid, then forget it. The only way i think that LM1's sound good is with longtubes.
