Default Really glad that I was driving a Mustang today.

Yeah, I was going to get something to eat, driving along at 75MPH down a two lane highway. I am crossing a bridge and I see a large black shape just starting to cross the road, a big f*cking cow is what that shape turned out to be. I slam on the brakes, the cow takes off and I miss it by an asshair and off the road I go. Problem is that it's a STEEP grade off the side of the road, maybe 9% and about 20 feet to the bottom.... I was facing back the opposite direction when I finally stopped. That rustang is DAMN hard to roll. Me, the car, and the cow all escaped damage, though I am not sure how.

Had I been in my old Saturn, or my old Cadillac, I am willing to bet that I would have been upside down off the side of the road.

Lower to the ground, wider tires, stiffer suspension. In my old saturn, with the skinny tires, going that fast and the body lean, I don't think it would have slid, I think it would have tipped.

That too. My stang stops way faster than any other car that I have owned. I guarantee that I missed that cow by inches.

Wow that had to be scary going 75mph and having to dodge a cow. Never seen a cow run across the hwy before.
