Im looking to build an NA car and replace the internals of my engine. What im woundering is how much hp will the cast iron block itself handle? If i remember correctly isnt it pretty strong and can handle pletty of power? Its not the block itself that is the weak point or am i wrong? thanks for the help.

I've heard the block itself can handle like 1000 hp. I'm not sure how true it is though.

All you can make... youll max everything else out before you max the block out.

The stock block can handle just about as much power as you can throw at it. It's the internals that are the limiting factor.
