Thats a good 60 foot for island, i never pulled better that a 2.16 there. When i power**** or even shift fast i spin 2nd there bad

need to heat up your tires a bit, or it could be bad track prep i guess. never had problems with 2nd until the gears.

Tanbuddy, which track did you go to in PA??? Or did you go to somewhere in MD to race??? Mason Dixon has had decent prep the few times that i went there with friends. Cant say anything about maple grove, Cecil, or Atco though.

I go to island dragway in n.j. Its only about 1/2 hour from my house.

Yea i should of kept my stock wheels when i changed wheels like 4 years ago lol. But oh well...ill accept my times. Last time i couldn't avoid the water box...which slowed me down...i had a 2.1 60 ft on my best pass.

i use the water box, mainly because it eased the pressure on my worn out clutch...as well as all the other worn parts.... :/ and the practice makes perfect isnt totally accurate. My karate teacher always told me, PERFECT PRACTICE MAKES PERFECTand you know what, i see the point. If you practice wrong all the time it wont make you any better lol.
