Go with HIDs... I had VVMEs, but they crapped out and were overall **** quality. The lights would flicker everytime I went over the smallest bump.

I now have the DDM Tuning 55w Slim Balast kit with no issues at all. Solid kit, go for that one.

not to hijack the thread but:
is there a difference between thier slim ballast (49.99) vs thier regular (29.99)? i dont really care about the size of the ballast, it shouldnt make a huge difference no?

do you have thier hi/low kit? i want to retain the hi/low, as its required by emissions

Unfortunately that is what happens with all the generics, the quality goes out the window in trade for a lower price.

I installed one of his kits in my CRV and it was a very "easy" install. It's twice as bright as my S. Ultras. And they don't ballast wobble like I thought they would. I'll be upgrading the mustang to these this summer.

A definite worthy upgrade, it's like driving a whole new car. I feel much more secure driving at night.

do you need special lights in order for HIDs to work? Like, can I pop them in using my standard lens' and everything?

like the others said DDMtuning.com has some really cheap kits, and i've yet to hear anything negative about their quality.
