What motor do you think saleen put in the S351's??? They were fuel injected 351's. You just gotta find the motors. I think they came in trucks and stuff back then before the mod motors. And seeing that youre pulling it apart anyways, it doesnt matter where its from. You could always go with an aftermarket block and look for fuel injected manifolds for it once the motors put together. And trust me, my buddy's 347 stroker is around 420 crank so you shouldnt have a problem with having 400rwhp with a 351, especially if you add some cubes to it.

pick up the cobra roller and build a 302 for it... easiest route

347 stroker kit, nice h/c/i combo, and a little bit of spray should set ya right around 500 wheel which is about as far as you want to push a sbf anyways while its on the stock block

man thanks alot guys! big time help! gonna search around on tha 351, and sure check into a 302 stroker as well and see whats better for me! again, thanks a ton! can not wait to get this all goin! should be pickin up tha car this weekend and start tha tearing down and cleaning proccess! i'll post pics as i go along!
