can u tell the difference from the outside? if you can then whats the point of getting a 3 piece?

I don't think you can tell the difference from the outside. The reason people get the 3 piece is so that it looks better when you open the hood. I could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure that's it.

Yeah the 3 piece has a plastic strip about an inch wide that covers over an exposed part of the headlight support right above the grille opening.

Just called up AM and talked to a guy. They said the 2 peice requires modification. You have to DREMEL out a rectangle in the metal to moun the new pony. The 3 piece kit includes a whole new grill peice. I do have a dremel, and am well capable of doing this myself, but i just want it done right i think ill spend a few extra bucks and do it the right way.

here is a picture explaining it.
Basically you have to cut that rectangle out, and make the holes bigger so the pony can slide in.

Hey man, i just picked up the 3 piece kit from stangmods.com. Should be shipping out tomorrow, they ship from maryland and im in pennsylvania so it should only be a day or two.
