CLUTCH killed my TRANS lol

Liberty makes Promotions parts for the most part. You can buy individual from there and they seem to be pretty nice to work with.
I would go ahead and go big. You'll regret it later.
Put some sturdy forks, synchros, bearing, and a 26 spline input shaft with a tranny with a removable bellhousing and a shatterproof guard (t45 and t56 i think) and call it a day!

ok, thanks for all of the input...it looks like my budget will allow me to;
replace the broken forks with factory parts =[
upgrade to the 04 cobra clutch kit with a billet quadrant, adjustable cable, and firewall adjuster, which should be able to lessen the stiffness a little.
if i do decide to FI and the tranny breaks i will deal with it then, i only have 1 more year of college until i can really afford to play hard, so until then it is what it is, im lucky i have enough to do this much, lol...
i did look at the centerforce clutch you continue to recommend but my performance mechanic is very strongly recommending the 04 cobra clutch for my use, although im sure the centerforce clutch is all you are describing it to be. i dont mind a little heavier stock feel clutch, if it werent for this trans problem i probably wouldnt even be doing the clutch now anyway so yea, lol...im getting a really good deal on these ford parts as well so that is a big factor here, lol...as you all know, **** adds up fast!
i wish they had a place you can go to where they just have all of these different clutches set up so you can sit down and feel each one, lol, there are so many different brands and everyone has a million good and bad opinions about them lol...

Personally I like my spec st.1 clutch & billet al. flywheel. I almost bought a st.2 but Ox talked me out of it. It might not be rated for the power you want, but neither is your trans with factory parts. It's better to fry a clutch than a trans any day.

like i said, if i have another trans problem im sure ill end up building it up, but until then i think that the factory trans can handle my car's power...its only bolt ons right now. i wouldnt even be doing the clutch right now if it werent for this occurrence...i hear so many mixed reviews on all these aftermarket clutches, ill let this cobra one hold me over and if i drive a car with a different clutch and i like it better ill do it at a later date, id kinda like my car back on the road lol...

I hate being in that situation that you broke something, and having to replace it with stock parts. I wish i could always live by the old saying "if its broke, upgrade it!" but that doesnt always happen. lol
