I would drive a Focus ZX3 or a freaking Eclipse before I would drive a Scion. FUGLY doesn't begin to describe it.

C'mon guys, this is starting to sound like a civic forum with all the "thats a girls car", just give a real input to try and help the OP and move on. For what those cars cost new, I dont think there's another car that looks as good and has as many options. And lets not even go into the motors, they love boost, the potential is there.

I say do it. I had a 05' tC and loved it. And I am not gay!!! I will admit a lot of girls drive them, but a lot of young guys have them and turbo them. I turned the car into a show car and won lots of trophies with it. It was a great car, got good gas mileage and I never had a problem with it even after all the mods. I got a little old for it so I bought a Speed3. Get it, drive it and trade it for something else. They really hold their value. I bought the car new for about 19,000 and sold it 2 years later for 17,000.

+2 .... If it was pink, I'd definitely avoid it though.

have it check out at a toyota dealer and see if its ok. If so I would do it and save for a another mustang when college is done. TC's are nice little cars , turbo or not they get good gas mileage and are nice looking. Cmon guys everyone knows girl cars all have LS engines in them

Update i did a carfax on the TC and came back with saying it had been in accident which i new but i wanted to call the guy just to make sure and he said yea that he hit the mailbox with drives side door and that he turned it in to insurance to get it fixed but what i do not understand is that he said he replaced the front and the back bumpers and the side skirts and had the whole car was repainted so im thinking he did a little more then hit a mail box with the car.
