@Hawwk11- Double check the emissions laws here in CA before you spend money on a catted pipe. The last I knew, CA requires that a car must have as many cats as was equipped from the factory, and all the aftermarket units have only 2, vs. 4 from factory. I'm not sure if the aftermarket catted pipes will pass a sniffer or not, but definitely not visual. I say save yourself $200 and get an o/r pipe, and switch your factory one back on when you need emissions testing done. And if you haven't already, go check out Brothers Performance down in Corona; fairly knowledgeable and all around nice people to deal with (their warehouse is right by my work, so it's nice to pick up stuff locally when you can instead of waiting on shipping, and they'll match prices with competitors).
Thanks alot.

I don't know what I enjoy the most. Driving it. Looking at it. Or looking over that shaker hood from the driver's seat. The car is terrific. Now, if only the winter would go by quickly, so I can begin driving it more. Winter driving is restricted to days without snow or salt on the road. The Mach 1 is everything I had hoped for. It also gets a lot of approving looks and many positive comments.
When my father was alive, we always remarked at how sharp a black Mustang GT looked. Neither of us was really into getting a black car. He had a 2003 DSG V6 during his last years and I had a white 96 Z-28 and my winter car (02 red Eclipse GT). Yet, black Mustang GTs always caught our eye. A new edge black, Mustang GT with the hood scoop is probably the only black car I could easily picture in my driveway. A classic color in a classic looking car. Best of luck with it.
