Harmonic balancer
Ok so when I reinstall my timing cover and all, do I need to do anything special with the harmonic balancer? I know it is keyed obviously. But I seem to remember the cam install guide I read saying somethign about sealant on the balancer. Can't remember now. Also other than the RTV on the valve covers do I need it anywhere on the front of the motor for the timing cover? Everybody else said use a tiny dab of glue inside the rim of the timing cover to hold the gasket inside it while I am installing so it doesn't fall out. Any other help or tips would be great guys. I would be doing it now but the idiot at Napa never ordered my damn parts so now I won't have them till tmrw! Should have a cam vid up soon!
-Every time I've taken my balancer off I haven't used anything while putting it on.
-You will need to seal the entire lining of the timing cover, valve covers, oil pan, water pump maybe?
hope that helps. any other questions let me know i've been reading up on this too since my engine is in pieced and want to make sure i put it back together correct.

I don't have my water pump or oil pan removed. Looks liek the stock timing cover gasket only has sealant in a couple small places to hold the gasket on there while installing. Maybe I will jsut add some in these same places?
