EDIT: how much did it all run you?

it seems that if the calipers are only 189, lets say blank rotors are $120 and SS lines are $70, its cheaper than what the kit used to cost from buyford racing. That only comes out to around $380ish
You dont have to get the braided, but you might as well since your in there.

I used my stock banjo bolt (it was the right thread) and new copper crush washers that comes with the lines.

With autozone rotors @ $70 ea. = $400

Thanks P51

Did you need to get any mounting brackets or antyhign or the calipers came with everything needed to mount it to the rotors? Sorry. I am kinda a noob with this.

np. Nothing, the calipers mount in the same way as your stock ones.
You just need some fluid and hose to bleed.
Soak the hell out of the caliper bolts, I busted 2 craftsman 15mm 6 pt. 3/8 drive sockets. I finally got it off with a 15 mm 1/2 drive socket and used a floor jack to turn the bugger. lol

haha no problem MG

Thanks p51

And jsut to simplify...if people want to do this, they need to order:
2 13" rotors
2 of those calipers in the link above
and maybe 2 of those SS lines for a GT and not for a cobra (idk if there is a difference). But the SS lines aren't mandatory correct?

Hey guys...just getting back to this.

Corrrect, ss lines aren't mandatory, but figured I might as well since I was there. I didn't do it myself, so I can't say how easy/hard it was. No, you don't need banjo bolts (with the cobra ones you do though).

And yes, putting together the kit myself saved $$ over the kit they had before, so it really worked out to my advantage.

Eventually I'm planning on doing something with rims. I want deep dish rears, but the supercharger is at the top of my list right now (debt free as of a month ago, so I'm really ramping up the savings for the stang)
