Default Sold the 67, Need Some Upgrade Idea's

Well guys. Last night I let go of my 67 Mustang Restomod. Sold it for $28,000 cash.
Went today with my girlfriend, traded in my 99 Ram and used $8,000 down on 2 new cars for both of us to drive daily.
2005 Ram for me
2007 Yukon for her
I also picked up a 69 Mach 1 project for my girlfriend Andrea and I to work on.

Now, I've already ordered a Kenne Bell for my 96 and my girlfriends 04 Mach 1...any other ideas as to what I should get for my GT?
It already has stage 2 comp cams in it, and I'm done with the suspension.
The motor was rebuilt 20,000 miles ago, along with the transmission.

tranny upgrades like maybe manual valvebody, stall, B&M hammer shifter, gears, suspension, new wheels with wider tires out back, built rear, or just build the bottom end even though the motor was only rebuild 20k ago.

For wheels I'm going to order some 17" American Racing Torque Thrust M's
I'm also setting some money aside to get it repainted.

I was thinking about this

not sure yet though.

Contact Tousley(Sp?) Ford. They are a wholesale dealership in tennessee and they sell their parts for just over wholesale. I think another member got that exact same differential for $172 shipped or something crazy like that. But i wouldnt buy it through summit or AM or anywhere else after seeing that price that someone else paid for one. Also then gotta get the axles too. But you can get them from anywhere you want to that you can find the best price on. But i would do the rear end upgrade with some 3.55 gears since you probably have the stock 2.83's or whatever they were for sn95's and then do the stall and shift kit and maybe a manual valvebody and shifter. That'd be what i would do. Also, think about doing cams. Get some blower cams for a PI motor and then you should be right about up there with PI numbers. Maybe a little bit lower but not much. Good luck. Must feel nice to buy blowers for both stangs and then be able to still get 2 new DD's out of the deal. lol

Sounds like you had a good day. Although I despise Chrysler and most related products, that looks like a bitchin' truck.

I planned on the rear end, just not sure as to what I was going to do.
I was thinking of 4.10's in it because it's not my DD anymore.
I'm also thinking I'm going to leave the transmission alone, it had a shift kit installed when it was rebuilt and shifts firm and hard.
As for cams, I might leave the comp cams in it and see how it does with my S/C
However, I'm thinking about what cams to do in the Mach 1.

Haha well it's one hell of a beast. I'm looking at what TT to get for this one. After owning a 99 Cummins I couldn't go anything else. My Inline 6 Diesel could pull more than Duramax or Powerstroke, while at the same time I was pulling close to 22 mpg. My work owns several Powerstrokes, and we've replaced several axles in them just from towing heavy loads, not to mention around 14 mpg. And after I TT'd it, 12's in a full size lifted truck is quite the entertainment haha

4.10's i would not suggest with either of the cars. I'd suggest that you go with no more than 3.73's with the superchagers. Youre still going to be hauling with the blower and you wont need high gears to get up and go like you usually do N/A. 3.73's will give you plenty of gear. I would never go above that with boost. I mean cobras do pretty damn good with 3.55's stock. But a stall would be a nice addition to your car from what ive heard. Something like a 3200 stall or something maybe a little more aggressive since its not a DD.

As for cams for the mach, i wouldnt suggest it unless you are going to build the bottom end. I mean you have N/A mach's with just cams approaching like 350-380rwhp and youre wanting to put a blower on top of that. I'd suggest that you just forget the cams til the bottom end is built or your just asking for trouble my friend. And youre not going to be able to spin it high enough to make the cams worth it because your tuner will probably set the rev limiter right around 5800-6000 just because it would be dangerous to spin it any higher and make more power than what you'll make at those rpm's. But here are the cams i'd look into if youre wanting cams for the mach...

CMS cams ROCK!!! valvespring upgrade needed.
