bottom line is modding something to be better is more fun to me than buying something with a high stock hp.
that new camaro is heavy and you can feel it when you're driving it. the solid-axle mustang still handles better than the IRS in that heavy POS.

yes its a nice power gain, but do the math... you can smoke it with your car for far less money.

The cylinder center spacing is exactly the same as ours. It's an aluminum block with the cylinders bored and sleeved. The bore (3.63") is not as big as that of the modular Boss 302 (3.70"). The Boss block bolts right into our cars. I imagine the Coyote block will to. I don't know about the heads though. They were completely redesigned and flow better than the Ford GT heads.

All mod motors have the same 100mm bore spacing, its the deck height that is different between the 4.6/5.0 and the 5.4L. The 4.6L and 5.0L share the same deck height so it will still be the same ol 26.xx inches wide valve cover tip to valve cover tip.

No, It's about D@mn time ford stepped it up and put some power in the stangs. If you want more power get a 03/04 cobra. You will still have your 99-04 body style but will be faster then the new stangs.

^How is that possible? I mean it will be the same horsepower as the new GT and they both are comparable in weight. The GT should be comparable in the quarter and i would say would be comparable in the corners as well. If there is any mustang but the new edge i would want, it would be the 2011's. I mean the rear end leaves some to be desired, but put the shelby rear on them and they look ****!!! And some nice 4" exhaust tips too.

I would definitely rather have a car that is faster out of the box. Usually when it comes to faster cars out of the box, they are cars like Vettes and the like. I would definitely rather have one of them then buy a GT and make it as fast.

The 2011 is not only much faster, it will out handle all older Mustangs as well.
