idk, im really considering goin for one of these 2011's, im curious wat kinda problems they will encounter though so i am reluctant to buy right away...i just cant get this car outta my mind, ive been thinking about it like all day, lol, i love my car and only had it for like a year, but these mustangs are so effin nice, and i love the horsepower out of the box, no worrying about the engine being able to handle it...i just have bolt-ons on my car right now and i alrdy blew the tranny once, lol, im too scared of breakin things now to go with any more power and im not satisfied with where im at =/

Go for it man!!! I love these new stangs and the new power and tranny offerings. I'd like to drive one of the new 6 speed auto GT's. That'd probably be pretty fun too.

Im very tempted to buy a 2011 v6 and turbo the sob for a DD and keep the 4.6 for a weekend summer cruiser. I think I am the only one on the site that loves that body revamp , interior and the REAR !!! I love the new rear , its ****. Who cares about the new Stangs making more power then our 12 year old platforms. Look at the fox bodies , they have less hp then the new edges but that didnt stop people from building them up and smoking newer models. Im just glad everyone is realizing that mustang is and always will > them GM POS's. I love how a 305 hp mustangs runs just a sliver behind the 400 something hp camaro turd and people say that lsX is the **** (its tickling). I cant wait to see fords new v6 and v8 engines rape them GM cars.

The new 5.0 is for the newbs... while its a good basic motor, its not boost friendly and im not sold on the growth potential... the new 6.2 2v is going to be the big dog. I just read a rumor today that not only can it be stroked to 7.0L (427 which ain't bad) but the new 2v heads can be ported to flow around 330-350 cfm... which means the stories of the 777 (7 liter, 700 hp, 7k rpm roush n/a roush motor are most likely true. While it still gets owned by the bowtie stuff, it is very competitive and good reason to have hope for FORD. That kind of motor could see upwards of 1000 hp boosted on pump gas.

i was quite impressed but the numbers, but i drove a 05 stang once and i hated the interior....it was too "retro" and boxy. i didnt like how the gas? gauge was set down in the dash compared to the tach and speedo. i just wasnt a fan of the feeling of it.

but by far the worse interior i have come across is a WS6's and camaros....OMG the cheap plastic crap, the orange lighting...just horrible (was looking into camaros along with new edge stangs when i was in the market.....clearly went stang lol)

i like the front of the new stangs...the rear will have to grow on me i think. not huge fan how the tail lights tilt forward so much as supposed to the 99-04's are vertical (i like).

I owe way to much on my mustang and have put way to much money,time and hard work to get it where its at. I have been tuning off and on repeatdly pulling the valve body off to adjust things and pulling the lower plenum off the fix vaccum leaks and re tapping the bolt holes to just run out and trade/sell it for some fancy new mustang when i could easily put a little money into mine and blow the doors off the new mustang.

I've fixed so many bugs in this car and have spent over a year just tuning it perfectly that 2 months ago a Z28 with headers,exhaust and 3:73 gears raped me from yesterday when i raped a Z28 yesterday from a 40mph roll up to 105mph

just puttin it out there that if youve done so much to your car y trade it for something new, your cars beautiful man be happy you have it just make it faster than the new ones. Atleast the rears of our cars aint butt ugly

the new stangs look really nice and i love the way the new stangs rear looks...i wish i could make my gt's rear sexxiier. i like them nice looking. the interiors aren't the greatest but i dont think many stangs have nice interiors that are stock. i didn't ever check the cup holders...but in mine i cant even fit a medium soda from mcdonalds in it properly, so i can't complain much about interiors sucking. (i have a 96gt that could be why)

i still wouldn't trade them for my car even though i haven't done much modding...it just takes the fun out of it for me. but thats my thing.
